Temple University’s Department of Journalism Appoints Arielle Emmett Lecturer of Magazine Writing and New Media

Philadelphia, PA, May 6 2005.  Concetta Stewart, Dean of Temple University’s School of Communications and Theatre, today appointed Arielle Emmett to the post of lecturer in journalism.   Ms. Emmett will teach both graduate and undergraduate courses in the American Magazine, Magazine Article Writing, Editing, Design for Journalists, and Publishing to the Web.

    In her Dean’s appointment, Ms. Emmett will instruct young journalists pursuing careers in magazine, newspaper, and multimedia communications.  The second largest program of its kind in the country, Temple University’s Department of Journalism has 1100 students and is the only accredited journalism program in Pennsylvania.
